Cities' Elected Councils
Cities that reside within Polk County's borders.
For the May 2025 election, there is only one election, that to fill a vacancy in Ward 6 of the City of Salem. While Ward 6 is in Marion County's NE area, all Salem voters vote for all candidates, so Polk voters in NW Salem will see it on the May ballot.
Half the boards are up for election in each city next in November 3, 2026. Filing for a city office must be done by August 23, 2026 to the City's Election Clerk of the given city (70 days before election date).
