About Special District board terms and elections
ODD YEARS
In almost all special districts (school, fire, water, cemetary), elections are held for half the board members every two years, for four year terms.
Those electons occur in the "off years," the odd numbered years. Special district rules in oregon law
EVEN YEARS
The even numbered years, on the other hand, have the gubenatorial, senate, presidential house (both U.S. and state) position's elections, with the Primary in May and General in November. ORS 254.056 for dates

- "TAX RATE" = This is cost to landowners in the district, the amount collected each year for each $1,000 worth of valued land owned.
